You can bring bottled water on a plane, but there are some restrictions. You cannot bring a full bottle of water through airport security in your carry-on luggage due to the liquid limitations enforced by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and similar agencies in other countries. Containers with more than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) of liquid are not allowed in carry-on bags.

However, you can bring an empty water bottle through security and fill it up at a water bottle filling station or drinking fountain after passing the security checkpoint. Alternatively, you can purchase a full bottle of water from a shop or restaurant located within the secure area of the airport after going through security. This bottled water can be brought on board the plane without any issues.
