My daughter is barely two and can't speak, but it's what she did that was so lovely.

I was laying on her bedroom floor playing with her when the pressures and stress of life got to me and I just broke down and started crying.

She stopped playing. Looked at me, frowned, and said, "awwwohhh" as she patted my leg. She then got up and went to grab a wash cloth and came over to me and started patting my face dry, all while frowning as if she were sad and cupped my face in her hands.

I'm so glad I get to be her mom. Her name is Alice. I took this picture of her right after:
