I went on a few dates with a girl recently.. And after being invited to her home, I discovered she had never once - in a year - dusted, cleaned her toilets or baseboards, swept, mopped, vacuumed, cleaned any kitchen appliances - and, oh, did I already say her toilets had things growing in them? It wasn't until after she had visited my pristine home, where everything has its own place, is thoroughly dusted and scrubbed down twice a week, along with periodic cleaning everyday - that she decided having such a filthy home may lose my interest.
It was gross… but it was actually her emotional immaturity, and extreme drug problems I found out about that lost my interest. Her ridiculously dirty home was just a mirror of who she was inside.
Flip through selfies on a dating site. Yes… all those people who think it is ok to take pictures in their bathroom mirrors. If you look closely, you will notice that a majority of the women have unkempt bathrooms and bedrooms when they are using full length mirrors. Just about any selfie I have ever seen from a guy, their bed is made, their bathroom sink is immaculate, and they usually don't have crap everywhere.
If you Google “selfie with messy background,” there are ZERO men to be found… and about a million women.
I believe calling men slobs was one of those attempts and rumors of trying to make men look dumb, so long ago. I literally know zero men with a dirty home, and a majority of the women whose homes I have visited were pretty gross. I have also never heard a man say, “oh I am sorry that my place is such a mess.” Because it doesn't happen.
It doesn't matter how “hot” someone may be, or how hot they think they are… if they are a pig, they are a pig. Having no respect for one's own home means they will have no respect for anyone else's home. And remember kids, how clean you keep your home is a reflection of your character. It is more than just a made bed, or clean toilets.
