I accept that unreservedly. For some people not being fully recharge in 5 minutes is a deal breaker. But I doubt that this is true for most people.
Most people do not drive more than the circa 300 mile range of an electric car on any given day. And for most people, the ability to have a full charge each morning when they set off (having left their car plugged in at home overnight) is better than the inconvenience of having to periodically pull into a service station to refill - possibly at some inconvenient time.
I think the number of people for whom range/refuelling time is a serious is not zero. But it is quite small.
