Scientifically speaking, no. This is because when certain people believe in superstitions, they act with more pre-caution when something occurs. For example, if someone who truly believes in paranormality accidentally broke a mirror, even the slightest event that they deem unlucky will count in. This is due to the fact that we are more cautious about our surroundings and events, so curses are technically not present in reality, instead think of it more as an illusion. Only those who “think” they are cursed are actually experiencing bad luck, the same goes for everyone.
