For everybody saying you should talk to her, maybe give that a try, but, I can tell you honestly it never worked for me. I would be explaining to her that it wasn’t me who broke the plate/ made the mess/ scored low in exams/ caused the sudden rain/ made my brother fall/ make my dad angry/ Irrespective of the problem, I was punished. My explanations only resulted in more beatings. So instead, I suffered through that time by remaining silent every time some kind of confrontation happened. At least it ended quickly that way.

All I got is a lousy half-hearted sorry 10 years after I moved out. Not happening mom.
