During my 3rd grade in school, this happened.

I was wandering in my school with my friend. A teacher was coming opposite to us, a young teacher.

It was her birthday that day, she was having a box of chocolates in her hands to give it to her fellow teachers.

I was staring at the chocolate box.

I was now ready to wish her “Good Morning” as she came close to us. But my mind had other plans.

I said “Thank you” instead, imagining that she gave me a chocolate.

She gave me a puzzled and weird look. I was puzzled too. Taste buds controlled my mind that day.

Then she had no choice but to gave me and my friend a chocolate finally and then I said “Good Morning”.

Guess, we were even with the wishes.
