Where do I start?
I’m a huge financial nerd, and have spent an embarrassing amount of time talking to people about their money habits.
Here are the biggest mistakes people are making and how to fix them:

Having a separate account allows you to see the results of all your hard work and keep your money separate so you're less tempted to spend it.

It’s a lot of work and investment but if you're equipped for it then well and good. We should always remember no business flourishes over-night. It takes a lot of time for the word to spread and business to grow and sales to take a steady flow. But if you looking for sales only and focus on business then e-commerce solutions are the ones you should look out for. You can partner with these platforms like Amazon, grofers, Big-basket, and Shupple. I suggest you try Shupple out. It is this amazing platform where I as a seller have reaped a lot of benefits. You can sell in any category all the way from grocery to restaurant-quality food. The setup charges are negligible and they have some really interesting offers and programs for you as a seller to flourish in your business, definitely would suggest checking it out! All the best!
Whichever one can get to you. I work for both Instacart and Shipt. Amazon is good. You can try contacting your favorite grocery store, and see if they have a favorite partner.
Helpful hints: Order on off days like Tuesday or Wednesday. Order days in advance. Tip well! Shoppers will pick up shops where people tip well. I’m just being truthful… Find out when your favorite grocery store does most of its restocking, and plan accordingly. Order for an early delivery.

You can often get some grocery items at drug stores. Get creative! Always ask for rare items like toilet paper, paper towels, Lysol, sanitizer. You may get lucky, but don’t be disappointed if they are out.

I once met a man who drove a modest Toyota Corolla, wore beat-up sneakers, and looked like he’d lived the same way for decades. But what really caught my attention was when he casually mentioned he was retired at 45 with more money than he could ever spend. I couldn’t help but ask, “How did you do it?”
He smiled and said, “The secret to saving money is knowing where to look for the waste—and car insurance is one of the easiest places to start.”

He then walked me through a few strategies that I’d never thought of before. Here’s what I learned:
1. Make insurance companies fight for your business
Most people just stick with the same insurer year after year, but that’s what the companies are counting on. This guy used tools like Coverage.com to compare rates every time his policy came up for renewal. It only took him a few minutes, and he said he’d saved hundreds each year by letting insurers compete for his business.
Click here to try Coverage.com and see how much you could save today.
2. Take advantage of safe driver programs
He mentioned that some companies reward good drivers with significant discounts. By signing up for a program that tracked his driving habits for just a month, he qualified for a lower rate. “It’s like a test where you already know the answers,” he joked.
You can find a list of insurance companies offering safe driver discounts here and start saving on your next policy.
3. Bundle your policies
He bundled his auto insurance with his home insurance and saved big. “Most companies will give you a discount if you combine your policies with them. It’s easy money,” he explained. If you haven’t bundled yet, ask your insurer what discounts they offer—or look for new ones that do.
4. Drop coverage you don’t need
He also emphasized reassessing coverage every year. If your car isn’t worth much anymore, it might be time to drop collision or comprehensive coverage. “You shouldn’t be paying more to insure the car than it’s worth,” he said.
5. Look for hidden fees or overpriced add-ons
One of his final tips was to avoid extras like roadside assistance, which can often be purchased elsewhere for less. “It’s those little fees you don’t think about that add up,” he warned.
The Secret? Stop Overpaying
The real “secret” isn’t about cutting corners—it’s about being proactive. Car insurance companies are counting on you to stay complacent, but with tools like Coverage.com and a little effort, you can make sure you’re only paying for what you need—and saving hundreds in the process.
If you’re ready to start saving, take a moment to:
- Compare rates now on Coverage.com
- Check if you qualify for safe driver discounts
- Reevaluate your coverage today
Saving money on auto insurance doesn’t have to be complicated—you just have to know where to look. If you'd like to support my work, feel free to use the links in this post—they help me continue creating valuable content.
I find grocery shopping is good, also anything from Amazon or Catalogues things you don't really need to see, but electronic,s TV, computers, phones that sort of thing I would never order on line.

Like many of you reading this, I’ve been looking for ways to earn money online in addition to my part-time job. But you know how it is – the internet is full of scams and shady-grady stuff, so I spent weeks trying to find something legit. And I finally did!
Freecash surprised me in all the right ways. I’ve earned over $1,350 in one month without ‘living’ on the platform. I was skeptical right up until the moment I cashed out to my PayPal.

What is Freecash all about?
Basically, it’s a platform that pays you for testing apps and games and completing surveys. This helps developers improve their applications while you make some money.
- You can earn by downloading apps, testing games, or completing surveys. I love playing games, so that’s where most of my earnings came from (oh, and my favorites were Warpath, Wild Fish, and Domino Dreams).
- There’s a variety of offers (usually, the higher-paying ones take more time).
- Some games can pay up to $1,000 for completing a task, but these typically require more hours to finish.
- On average, you can easily earn $30-60/day.
- You pick your options — you’re free to choose whatever apps, games, and surveys you like.
Of course, it’s not like you can spend 5 minutes a day and become a millionaire. But you can build a stable income in reasonable time, especially if you turn it into a daily habit.
Why did I like Freecash?
- It’s easy. I mean it. You don’t have to do anything complicated. All you need is to follow the task and have some free time to spend on it. For some reason, I especially enjoyed the game Domino Dreams. My initial goal was to complete chapter 10 to get my first $30, but I couldn’t stop playing and ended up completing chapter 15. It was lots of fun and also free money: $400 from that game alone.
- No experience needed. Even if you’ve never done any ‘testing’ before, you can do this. You get straightforward task descriptions, so it’s impossible to go wrong. A task you might expect is something like: Download this game and complete all challenges in 14 days.
- You can do it from anywhere. I was earning money while taking the bus, chilling on the couch, and during my breaks.
- Fast cashing out. I had my earnings in my PayPal account in less than 1 day. I’m not sure how long it takes for other withdrawal methods (crypto, gift cards, etc.), but it should be fast as well.
- You can earn a lot if you’re consistent. I’ve literally seen users in the Leaderboard making $3,000 in just one month. Of course, to get there, you need time, but making a couple of hundred dollars is really easy and relatively fast for anyone.
Don’t miss these PRO tips to earn more:
I feel like most users don’t know about these additional ways to make more money with Freecash:
- Free promo codes: You can follow Freecash on social media to get weekly promo codes for free coins, which you can later exchange for money.
- Daily rewards and bonuses: If you use the platform daily, you’ll get additional bonuses that help you earn more.
- In-app purchases to speed up processes: While playing, you can buy items to help speed up task completion. It’s optional, but it really saved me time, and I earned 4x more than I spent.
- Choose the highest-paying offers: Check New Offers and Featured Offers to get the best opportunities that pay the most.
Honestly, I still can’t believe I was able to earn this much so easily. And I’ve actually enjoyed the whole process. So, if you’re looking for some truly legit ways to earn money online, Freecash is a very good option.
Yes. My experiences overall have been great.
When ordering a food item, what does "the works" mean where you are from?
This isn’t regional - it’s specific to different foods and in different regions. A hot dog with “the works” in Chicago may include mustard, onions, pickle, tomato, and Chicago-style relish. In Philadelphia, ketchup is typical - but would probably be considered sacrilegious in Chicago.
Same with burgers, pizza, sandwiches, or other food where a variety of toppings or condiments exist. It will even vary by chain as “The Works” in some burger place will include, say, avocado, but in most places it’s not even available.

If you can't get vitamins and minerals from fruits and vegetables that you buy, you might as well throw it away.
I buy a certain amount of dairy.I love greek yogurt, I buy very little cheese, and organic cow's milk. Most plant-based milks are a waste of money.
I buy fish and meat once in awhile.I look for grass fed beef and wild caught fish.
I stay away from deli meats, processed, and prepared foods.
Since I grew up on complex carbohydrates and wheat, I buy whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta, and rice. However, since whole wheat has high levels of roundup, I either buy organic, or I need to soak my wheat products in vinegar and water.
I buy sweet potatoes versus white potatoes and again that is because white non-organic potatoes contain high levels of roundup.
I do not buy expensive snacks.I do love raisins and dates.I will buy peanuts, walnuts, or almonds.I do buy natural organic peanut butter.
I buy 100 percent juice with nothing added.I prefer a dark juice like grape or black cherry.
I prefer the Mediterranean diet and the more we can grow and cook our own food, the healthier we can be.
Most food in the grocery stores are loaded with harmful ingredients and http://chemicals.It is really so important to check the ingredients label. If there are too many and we don't know what it is, there is a great chance it is not healthy or good for us.

There are several food delivery business models that have gained popularity in recent years due to the increasing demand for convenient meal options. Here are some of the best food delivery business models:
Aggregator Model: In this model, an aggregator platform acts as a mediator between customers and restaurants. The platform lists various restaurants and their menus, allowing customers to browse and place orders through the platform. The aggregator takes a commission from the restaurants for every order placed. Examples of aggregator models include Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub.
Subscription Model: Some food delivery businesses offer subscription-based models where customers pay a monthly or annual fee to receive benefits such as free delivery, discounts, or exclusive offers. This model encourages customer loyalty and can provide a steady stream of revenue for the business. Meal kit services like Blue Apron and HelloFresh often use this model.
Direct Delivery Model: This model involves restaurants or food delivery businesses employing their own delivery personnel to fulfill customer orders. By having control over the delivery process, businesses can ensure timely and quality service. This model is commonly used by local restaurants or businesses with a dedicated customer base.
Peer-to-Peer Model: Peer-to-peer food delivery platforms connect individuals who want to deliver food with customers who place orders. This model allows independent drivers to work on their own schedule and earn money by delivering food. Examples of peer-to-peer food delivery platforms include Postmates and DoorDash (in addition to their aggregator model).
It's important to note that the success of a food delivery business model depends on various factors such as market demand, competition, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. It's essential for entrepreneurs in the food delivery industry to carefully analyze these factors and choose a business model that aligns with their goals and target market.
Final thoughts
It's reasonable to claim that the business model you select has a big impact on how your company grows because it determines how your company will operate. Therefore, picking the ideal food delivery business strategy for your organization is crucial. Before choosing a business model and a food delivery service, you must take into account elements like client convenience, alignment with your business goals, and the extent of technological improvements.

I really signed up a good friend for Meals on Wheels and I am paying for those meals. She already as had a bad fall and got a hip replacement and next was receiving physical therapy. One year later she had a mild stroke. Her husband passed away five years ago. Her only so doesn’t come see her.
She does have one good friend that is younger and they eat lunch at the senior service center where there are games, exercise classes and her lunch meal. Oh, I forgot that they play Bingo. The prizes are most often canned food, dried beans, bread, canned vegetables. These are provided to the the senior service from three churches. A lot of seniors only have Social Security.
My good friend does have a neighbor across the rural farm road and she and her husband check on her.
No, its not better for her to order from a restaurant where she has to pick up the food and spend $$ on the food. Quit comparing the two. Mary is 82 years old and is a retired 2nd grade school teacher. She worked 40 years as a teacher.
Wow, this is about the 3rd time I've gotten a question about food delivery services in 2 days.
Last time I'm answering this topic.
I refuse to let another person choose my groceries for me. My standards rarely mesh with those of others.
I think these services are an over priced rip off.
If I do take away of any sort I'll pick it up myself to check that the order is correct and in full.
But groceries picked out by an amateur non culinary industry person, I think not!
I do my own shopping come hell or high water.
This is a classic example of “begging the question”. You question assumes that it is in fact better to order from a local restaurant, when in fact this has not been demonstrated at all. How is it better? It is not better in cost. And in this sort of instance, “better” is an opinion, not a fact. Some might prefer the meals they receive from Meals on Wheels. Others may prefer the restaurant meals.
So, to answer your question, it isn’t necessarily.
My only experience has been through Amazon, and I thought the UPS truck driver was especially nice for sitting the box inside my door for me, as it was heavy.
Apparently, one must have a cell phone to use Wal-Mart’s (and other's) curbside pick-up option, as one has to drive to a designated parking spot and call to let them know you're there. I don't own a cell phone, so I am unable to use this service. 🤷 💖

In the digital age, the convenience of grocery delivery services has transformed how people shop for daily essentials. The demand for online grocery shopping has skyrocketed, especially in urban centers, driven by convenience, speed, and variety. With numerous players in the grocery delivery space, it becomes imperative to assess which service stands out as the best.
One service that emerges prominently in the grocery delivery domain is Lyshra, a hyperlocal shopping app designed to connect local sellers with nearby customers. Lyshra is not only an e-commerce platform but also a catalyst for supporting local businesses, empowering them to reach their customers in a new and efficient way. This answer will focus on the question: What is the best service to use to get groceries delivered?—with a comprehensive exploration of how Lyshra offers the best solution in today’s market.
Lyshra: The Hyperlocal Grocery Solution
Lyshra is a hyperlocal shopping app that emphasizes the connection between local grocery sellers and nearby customers. The platform provides an ecosystem where local shopkeepers can sell their products to customers within a range of 1 to 10 kilometers. This system encourages a local-first approach, promoting sustainability, reducing delivery times, and supporting small businesses.
Lyshra allows sellers to expand their reach to a pan-India audience. It effectively balances the local benefits of proximity with the scalability of national e-commerce, making it an ideal solution for both sellers and customers.
Why Lyshra Is the Best Service for Grocery Delivery
Lyshra distinguishes itself in several areas, making it an ideal choice for grocery delivery. Below are the core reasons why Lyshra is the best service for getting groceries delivered:
1. Local Focus with a Hyperlocal Model
Lyshra’s hyperlocal approach is one of its key features. By connecting customers with local grocery sellers, Lyshra ensures that consumers receive fresh products delivered quickly. The proximity of sellers to customers (within a 1-10 kilometer range) minimizes delivery time, ensuring that perishable items, such as fruits, vegetables, and dairy products, arrive at their peak freshness.
Local grocery shops, kirana stores, and vegetable sellers can all list their products on Lyshra, giving customers access to the local produce and essentials they trust while shopping from the convenience of their homes. In contrast to large national grocery delivery platforms, which often prioritize their warehouses and centralized logistics systems, Lyshra focuses on supporting small, neighborhood businesses.
This local-first approach also has positive environmental implications, as it reduces the carbon footprint associated with longer delivery routes. By relying on local resources, Lyshra promotes a sustainable and eco-friendly way of grocery shopping.
2. Convenient Grocery Shopping Experience
Convenience is at the heart of the Lyshra experience. The platform is designed to be user-friendly for both sellers and buyers. Sellers can quickly create an online store using Lyshra’s free seller registration, and the quick inventory setup allows them to add up to 1,000 products in just 5 minutes.
For customers, this seamless experience translates into a quick and efficient grocery shopping journey. Lyshra’s intuitive app interface allows users to easily browse through nearby stores, view product listings, and place orders within minutes.
Furthermore, Lyshra offers flexible delivery options, enabling customers to choose between store pickup and home delivery. This flexibility caters to different customer preferences, whether they want the convenience of delivery or prefer to pick up their groceries themselves.
3. Support for a Wide Variety of Sellers
Lyshra supports a wide range of local sellers, from small kirana stores to larger grocery shops. This diversity in sellers means that customers have access to a vast selection of products, ranging from daily staples such as rice, flour, and oil to specialty items like organic produce or gourmet snacks.
This inclusiveness makes Lyshra a comprehensive platform where customers can fulfill all their grocery needs in one place. Whether they are looking for fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, packaged foods, or household essentials, Lyshra provides a one-stop solution.
Moreover, Lyshra enables grocery shops to offer their products across India, expanding their customer base beyond their immediate locality. This broader reach benefits both sellers who can grow their businesses and customers who gain access to local specialties that may not be available in larger grocery chains.
4. Quick and Reliable Delivery
Speed and reliability are critical factors when choosing a grocery delivery service. With Lyshra’s hyperlocal model, delivery

Method 1 of 2:At a restaurant
It's probably a better idea to find a seat before you get your food. This is because if all the seats are full after you've collected your food, you're going to have to either eat standing up or walk around looking for a seat for quite some time. Also, some restaurants send waiters to your table, so it's required that you find a seat. At some restaurants, there will be a hostess who will direct you to your seat.
2. Look at the menu.

Also, some restaurants send waiters to your table, so it's required that you find a seat. At some restaurants, there will be a hostess who will direct you to your seat.
2. Look at the menu.
The menu should already be on your table but if it's not, or there are not enough menus for everyone, ask a member of staff for one. The menu includes everything that the restaurant sells and also states their prices. Have a look and see if anything interests you then decide what you're going to buy.
3. Call the waiter over.
This can be done by simply getting a passing waiter's attention or waiting until they come to you. Once they arrive, tell them what you'd like to eat. Make sure that they've written down the correct foods so you don't end up with something that you didn't want.
Never click your fingers to get their attention, the waiter will find it very rude and offensive. Remember that they are normal people with jobs, not your slaves.
4. Wait for your food.
At some restaurants, they cook the food from scratch as soon as they get your order. This means that it might take some time for your food to get to you. Just be patient, your food should arrive in under half an hour. If it hasn't arrived, tell someone. They may have forgotten about your order, or it might just be a busy day.
5. Enjoy!
Method 2 of 2:Over the phone
1. Decide where you'd like to eat.
This all depends on what you fancy. Are you hungry for a burger? Or would you rather order from your local kebab shop? As long as the shop does deliveries, you can pretty much order whatever you like.
2. Find their phone number.
You can usually do this by going to their website or searching for their phone number online. If the shop is local, they will usually post flyers through the door. If they don't have a website, you can also look at one of these flyers to find their number.
3. Give them a ring.
They might not answer straight away if they're busy but just do your best to stay patient.
4. Place your order.
To do this, tell them what you'd like to eat. They will usually ask for your address so they know where to deliver the food and sometimes your name. Make sure that they confirm your order so you don't end up with the wrong foods at your door.
5. Wait for your delivery.
Depending on where you live and where you ordered from, the time you'll have to wait can vary. Usually though, you shouldn't be kept waiting for over half an hour. If you're still waiting, phone them up again and confirm that your order has been delivered. They may have forgotten about it or not finished cooking it yet.
6. Pay the delivery person.
Some people give small tips to the delivery person. This is optional but they'll appreciate it a lot. If you'd like to give a small tip, tell them to just keep the change.
As someone who ran Instacart & other food delivery services for a long time, there are both pros & cons to ordering food this way.

Con’s…Many people are just working to get a paycheck and don’t spend the proper money to ensure items stay fresh until delivered. I purchased numerous insulated bags, pizza bags, and even an electric fridge/freezer I could plug into my jeep to keep frozen items frozen. Also, a hot bag to keep hot, prepared foods hot. Not all delivery drivers care enough to make that effort. In fact, I get most of my groceries delivered and run into many issues. If I had the time I would do my own shopping but I don’t, so I make sure to order items I know don’t need to be kept super cold or hot. I get those myself when I’m able.
Personally, I think the cons outweigh the pro’. I feel the delivery drivers don’t get screened well enough. They need people quickly so they can’t possibly screen each and every one properly. ,,,

For me, it's between Tesco and Waitrose. However, I think that all the UK's supermarkets have fairly good delivery websites and/or apps. I don't know about other countries.
Strange drinks.
Have you ever had that moment trying to get someone from behind the counter to pick you that one perfect brownie with the 3 crispy edges, kinda in the center there, no, not that one, right there, one more, oh yeah! (Then they break it).
There are some very esoteric drinks that people swear by. You may recognize the color of the can, right in the spot they kept it last time. But you're sending someone on a wild goose chase when they go searching for “Larissa” water.

One of those wine super-nerd things some people look for is disgorgement date. they can tell the whole story of what you did to it and can assume on what’s happened inside, by comparing when it was barreled, unbarreled, and finally bottled months later, sometimes.
Yes sir, that means someone has to shoot an arrow into the air, then sit on the floor for an hour to find one bottle in 20 cases.
Worse than that still was the real collectors. At that level, most of it is completely in its original language, with all kinds of miniscule things like that to look for. I’ll end up trying to figure out if this was the one in the Dusendlerla estate or, it’s experimental new crop at Dusendrleala, mind you, after a few “quality checks” myself.
People get so worn out and loopy having to extend so much more mental energy, we start having world rank-out contests. “I wash my hands of you, my pet of ill breeding.” (?).
Long story short, just order the Coke.
