So to speak, there are dozens of yoga schools in Rishikesh. But, when it comes to choosing the best, it is indeed a difficult choice.

One friend of mine was also in the same situation when she was exploring the yoga teacher training schools in Rishikesh and got bewildered by seeing dozens of yoga schools in a line. It was her first time in Rishikesh, Although she had read a lot about this place, however, going there and exploring was a whole lot different thing for her.

Out of curiosity she made a call to me, and asked multiple questions, like, which one is the best yoga school in Rishikesh, what’s their course fee and how’s their food quality, accommodations, etc.

I wasn’t sure if I could answer her questions, but having attended a 3-day yoga retreat already, I had something to share. I shared my experience regarding that school, the people I met, the food quality, and the activities I took part in, yoga asanas, lessons on yoga philosophy, Pranayama, meditation, and beyond that. Those 3-day yoga retreat sessions taught me a lot and turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life, providing the soul-refreshing break I was seeking. Additionally, I am grateful for the wonderful people I met, particularly Jaina from the US, who remained in contact with me throughout the sessions and has now become a close friend.
