In kindergarten our class was learning about spiders and the teacher said something along the lines of, “ well you know spiders have 8 legs and 2 eyes.” All of the kids believed her except for me and I called out, “ actually they have 8 eyes as well.” She then went on on how she was right and that “they only have 2 eyes not 8, where did you learn this nonsense?” Everyone around me started laughing while I was sitting in the corner looking like an idiot. Later that day when I got home I told my mom what happened and showed her the book where I read the info. She then got on the phone with my teacher(close friend btw) and said these words I remember perfectly- “son of a bitch, they do have 8 damn eyes. He’s a smart little shit.” And the very next day I got an apology by my teacher in front of my whole class. *bows*
