When I was much younger, probably mid-20s, I was at a warehouse-style grocery store. I had just checked out and was putting my groceries in a cart. An elderly man was having his groceries checked out, same line, right after me. He noticed that I had a couple cans of soup that he also had. He accused me of taking his soup. I didn't handle that too well. I waved my receipt under his nose. I didn't like his attitude and I felt stereotyped; at that age I looked about 17.

I think he apologized but jeez…
