well i can tell about automotive design/engineering software’s

1. solid-works

2. Creo(preE)

3.CATIA

there are many software you can create a CAR

these software not only offer’s designing but also Engineering on it

for styling

1. Auto-desk Alias Automotive

2. some people use photo shop for creating conceptual car’s

3.Auto desk 3DMax

4.Cinema 4D

thought there are many software’s in which you can do styling and creating a car BUT definitely non of them are best they own their own pros and cons so can't tell which one is best different design/ industry,companies uses different software’s (most of them are mentioned above) so it really depends ….
