Yes, Mac supports MS office. I have been using it since a long time for all my projects and presentations. I find the Ms office package for Mac more responsive and smooth working than on most Windows laptops.
Eg. If you need to do a lot of editing of any text, it's a nightmare to do it on a Windows laptop by just using trackpad without a mouse. On the other hand on a Mac it's just amazing how easily you can do the same work.
Along with that you even get the added benefit of Apple's documentation apps like Pages, Keynote and Numbers where you get some additional templates and features with the added ability of exporting the file to MS office so that you won't face any problems using them on other Windows pc.
The only challenge I had to face was that Mac has some "special fonts" which are not preloaded on Windows PCs. So if I had a documented or a presentation prepared in that font, Windows pc would change it and sometimes it omitted some letters or words, or worst included some crazy characters in middle the middle of text. So if you're using just make sure you are using a standard font and not a geeky one.
