Because they’re fucking obnoxious, unnecessary, take a LONG time to install, we’re given absolutely no choice to turn this useless horseshit off, half the time they want to put garbage like Microsoft Edge onto us (and I uninstall it every single time), and worse of all, they make your computer WORSE! Slow, laggy, and bloated. There is literally NO reason for the average user to need Windows 10 Updates, but every jackass working in IT loves them because they get paid to have them violate your hard drive with this fucking garbage!

I don’t even turn my computer off anymore; thinking this would avoid updates. But at some point, while I’m at work, it’ll restart itself, either in sleep mode or not, install the updates, and by the time I come home, all my work and browsers are closed out, the taskbar is blank, and a FUCKING Edge shortcut is now on my desktop!

If they gave us the option to install (not made it mandatory) and it didn’t take a fucking hour to do so, people would be more patient with it. If it is “so important,” then they wouldn’t care whether updates were installed or not. If they were so mandatory for “smooth performance” on your computer, then they would make more money with the people who chose not to install them, and then had issues that they had to pay Microsoft customer service to help fix. In other words, it makes more business sense to not have these updates mandatory, if they “kept your PC healthy.”

I feels like being violated by Microsoft every time they push this shit onto my hard drive without my consent. As well as make it near impossible to uninstall, not even through System Restore. But every stupid jackass working for them will just say “Shut up and take it. Whether you want this disruptive stuff on here or not doesn’t matter. You take that U up the rear!” I’m literally never buying another Microsoft machine after the fucking NIGHTMARE that is Windows 10! If my old computer didn’t die in 2019, I wouldn’t even have gotten Windows 10 in the first place.
