Well, they can be ugly and kinda boring. It’s pretty hard to find a fanny pack (waist bag, cross-body bag - whatever you want to call them) that reflects your personality. Or any personality for that matter. If we think of accessories as extensions of our own personality, then plain, black packs are really boring.

I love WhimsInkle’s take on the fanny pack. They’ve named this series “Peculiars” which is kinda cute, because, really, we’re all a little peculiar, aren’t we? They have a whole series of them, with different colors and personalities. It’s like having a fun, pet who carries all of your stuff for you.
