(After Pete left Santana, Pete then teamed up with Sheila Escovedo and Peter Michael Escovedo to create their own Latin fusion band.) Graham Lear, who also was a Santana band member who played the drums on the Moonflower album, went on to play drums for a jazz group called Gino Vannelli for some time in the 1970s. Santana's main big break happened at Woodstock in 1970. The "big break" tune that made this band put Latin rock with a big stamp on American rock history in Woodstock was "Soul Sacrifice". The song's evocations of Afrobeat, highlife, Latin fusion, soul, power rock, soca, jazz organ, and Afro-Cuban grooves mixed into one rock music smorgasbord, was the reason Santana was the most popular Latin rock band for all of the 1970s and most of the 1980s.

Later on, the Santana band continued to be famous in the 1990s and 2000s decades when they teamed up with singer Rob Thomas for the famous cha-cha-cha/Latin rock hit, "Smooth", and with members of Mana, in another cha-cha rock song, "Corazon Despinado."

biggest names in the last 30 years can go from earthy weird bands Like Caifanes, to 80’s poppie later translated to contemporary in Soda Estereo, the closest thing to mainstream Metal in “Heroes de silencio" than indie With Zoé and all the hipster bands of the last 15 years, not leave out bands like Cafe Tacuba or Molotov though Molotov fell out or sold out when transitioning to the u.s. so they only had one good album that came out mid 90’s

the problem is all the bands I just mentioned have very different sounds there is no unified sound for Spanish speaking countries because they are bands that just stock around, today drill and hiphop are way more popular than rock it seems we are at a low point for rock and all the hiphop producces is garbage so hopefully we will have a new sound in the coming years.

Besides Argentina’s poor economy, it’s most likely to succeed with a band in Argentina than other countries because Argentinians have a great attachment to Rock, there are big festivals, bars and stadiums that are packed with rock’n roll shows every year. Also, Argentinian bands have made a very good reputation in South America. Sadly being succesful with a rock band is hard in any part of the world, young people seem to prefer other genres but there’s still hope that good old rock days come to the surface.

This is a very difficult question...
What do you want from your live performance?

Lights, fireworks, inflatable pigs? Pink Floyd.
Dancers and choreography? Beyonce.
Songs that sound different every time you see the band? The Grateful Dead.
Energy and outrageous behaviour? The Libertines.
Inflatable balls for crowd surfing? The Flaming Lips

Now, I'm not saying that these are the best live bands but they certainly set some good examples for other bands to follow.

Some of my personal favourites have been,

Ozric Tentacles. with The Fruit Salad Light Show.

Carter USM. 5000 fans shouting "You Fat Bastard" at a group of naked men, a light show to give you sunburn and songs we all knew inside out.
Art Brut. Audience interaction, the singer coming down from the stage into the audience to tell us stories for 20 minutes.

What I want from a concert is the experience.
I don't want the songs to sound like the album. I don't want the band to stand like statues during the whole show.
I want artists that interact, that make mistakes, that perform a cover version you wouldn't expect.
I want to be entertained!

My absolute favourite was probably Dr. & The Medics. They were superb. Costumes, the hits, cover versions, anecdotes.

Head over to this Debt Relief comparison website here, then simply answer the questions to see if you qualify.

It’s as simple as that. You’ll likely end up paying less than you owed before and you could be debt free in as little as 2 years.

Times have changed. There are a number of investing platforms that will give you a bonus to open an account and get started. All you have to do is open the account and invest at least $25, and you could get up to $1000 in bonus.

Pretty sweet deal right? Here is a link to some of the best options.

To make money, a band needs a large market, so the answer are the countries with the largest populations: Brazil first, and Mexico second.

But to be a happy rock band, there is no place in the world like Argentina.

LetLive. Hands down the most high energy rock show in the past decade.
The band is absolutely solid, and their singer is a beautiful maniac onstage.
I've never heard of anyone walking out of a Letlive concert feeling "ho-hum"

Also, for a different vibe, might I recommend the almighty Protomen. An unmatched ensemble performing a rock opera based on a dystopian Mega Man video game universe.

They are incredible instrumentalists. That's cool too. But what is Latina about their music? Don't get me wrong. They are an amazing band, but there are bands from East LA, Van Nuys, or South Texas who will sound more Latina. They don't seem to draw much inspiration from Mexico, which seems to me to be a huge missed opportunity. Maybe I am not familiar enough with ALL their work, but that is one major reason I would not define them as “the best”. Santana, Los Lobos, Ritchie Valens, and others never forgot their roots, and you hear it in their music. However, you don't hear it with The Warning. This doesn't mean they are not an amazing band, for they surely are.
