Yes, kind of. And No, it didn't work out. I know someone that was so focused on money that she wouldn't consider even dating unless the other person was well to do. She ended up marrying the son of a multi-millionnaire, only to be controlled by the the in-laws and find out that her husband was a selfish, lazy, alcoholic.

That doesn't mean that people with money can't be good people, just that money should never be the main reason for marriage.
