My sister had a son in 2012. Mom called her to come over for a month to take better care of her. She came.

I was around 14–15 years old at that time. One day i was playing with my nephew and he took a pee in my arms. He didn't have the diaper on and my t-shirt got completely drenched in his pee. And next thing i said to everyone sitting there was ….

“Why don't they make diapers for big boys…they make them for big girls…i see adds everywhere about stayfree and all……i see girls in those adds sleeping without care.. whereas we boys have to get up from bed to pee…this is so unfair

Everyone in the room started laughing. I too thought it was funny but not that much. so I asked…

what ? what?…I'm right..they should make them for big boys too”

To which my brother said while laughing…

stop…you don't know anything…

I was like…

what?

I thought it was mildly funny at that time but later when i got to know things i was like what have i done. I still feel embarrassed and my family still makes fun of me for saying that.

To me this…

and this

meant the same thing during childhood.
