Not my parents. My mother-in- law expressed how disappointed she was that my 4 yr old daughter did not properly thank her for her Christmas gifts. ( Of course it was my fault, not her son’s)

We have a pretty casual Christmas and take turns opening presents. We have time after each present to thank the giver. She expected that after all were opened that our daughter would go to her and thank her for each present she gave her. I think she was afraid she wouldn’t be given proper credit.
