Dream theater, they cover so much musical ground from gentle piano ballad to heavy metal, often within the same song, each musician in the band is outstanding and they have all been inducted into their instruments “hall of fame” so to speak
There was a band way back then called Baron Rojo. They were a Hard Rock band who made made some Awesome albums in the 1970’s. Loved that band. I had their vinyl albums in my collection.

biggest names in the last 30 years can go from earthy weird bands Like Caifanes, to 80’s poppie later translated to contemporary in Soda Estereo, the closest thing to mainstream Metal in “Heroes de silencio" than indie With Zoé and all the hipster bands of the last 15 years, not leave out bands like Cafe Tacuba or Molotov though Molotov fell out or sold out when transitioning to the u.s. so they only had one good album that came out mid 90’s
the problem is all the bands I just mentioned have very different sounds there is no unified sound for Spanish speaking countries because they are bands that just stock around, today drill and hiphop are way more popular than rock it seems we are at a low point for rock and all the hiphop producces is garbage so hopefully we will have a new sound in the coming years.
