Several years ago I filled my car up at the petrol station and realised I didn't have my wallet, any cash, and no form of I.D - I tried to explain the problem to the shop assistant and offered to leave my watch and phone with him whilst I drove home to get some cash.
The assistant said that he had to call the police as it constituted theft, I felt so stupid. Then a guy who came into the petrol station purely just to buy a packet of cigarettes offered to pay the £60 bill that I had. Despite being in an awkward predicament I refused his offer and thanked him but he simply left the £60 at the counter and walked away.
If your reading this, thank you again, your good heart has inspired me to look more closely at other people when they need help.
