An example i can give is just a short while ago I got a call. I thought it may have been a new doc I had called earlier trying to tell me they have an appointment that opened up and answered. Instead of a “hello,-" or a “is this XYZ?” or even “who am I speaking to?” I get blasted with some older lady screaming at me about how the fuck can I have 2 car insurances on my car and yet neither will cover the damage my dumb ass put that car through?!

I am of course very confused as I don't have car insurance. Because I also don't have a car. So I try to calmly as “excuse me?”

This lady goes off again on how I must have heard her and how I am wasting her time and wasting money on all this if I can't even get one insurance to cover the damages I've done to the car. I took a breath and told the lady I think she was confused as I don't have a car.

She paused and then tells me how she's sorry, but her son used to have this number and he must not have given her the new number recently. I told her then she should probably make sure she has the right person before blasting swear words over the phone and also if that's how she opens a phone call that may be the reason her son hasn't updated her on his number in over 2 years now. She started going off about me giving her an attitude but I hung up on her. Didn't need more angry bull.

So yeah, I always just have a bit of fun by holding a mirror back at em.
