Telegony is a red herring.

Here is a list. It is not exhaustive. The adventure for you is to discover the rest of the reasons. But I’ll get you started with four reasons. You value virginity in women because: 1) your programming through immersion in an Abrahamic religion (Judaism, Christianity and/or Islam) requires associating female purity (but not male) with the absence of sexual experience; 2) you're a bit of a sadist and enjoy female’s expressions of discomfort and seeing blood from an hymenectomy. It makes you feel like you bigger and more powerful; 3) your sexual inexperience leaves you feeling insecure subconsciously and as a result you want an equally or more inexperienced lover; and 4) there is likely some brain physiology that causes males to feel the passionate emotions of “possessiveness” and “jealousy” over females.

All of these reasons have something in common . . . POWER. It’s really all about increasing one’s perception of power and decreasing another's. It will be very difficult to come to terms with these explanations. Well . . . at least, it was for me. But think about it, we value experience and skill in every corner of our lives. Do you want a friend that has never had a friend? A teacher that has never taught? How about a doctor that has never practiced medicine? Yet you want a virgin and call her an “unspoiled shinning example of womanhood”? If yes, why? What benefit does her complete lack of sexual experience offer, except to make you feel big, important, singular and powerful?

Personally, I'd rather learn to give a highly sexually experienced woman that I care about an excellent and fulfilling intimate experience versus knowing I'm the best she's ever had because I'm all she's ever had.

Once you come to an understanding that in general, intimacy is for women what sex is for men; then you’ll more easily let go of thoughts of prior men plunging their members in and out of your companion. You'll focus on your intimate connection and that will change everything.

Best wishes!
