You need to contact the cyber cell of your Place and appraise them of the situation and that you cannot be penalised for what others had done with your account. You contact your bank aswell and take their advice aswell.
If things do not work out, contact Gujarat cybercell and inform them of the situation and ask them to defreeze your account.
Even if that does not work, use/open a seperate account for your daily transactions till you get a suitable reply or till your account being defreezed.

4. Request an NOC : When your issue resolve, ask the cyber police to send a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the bank’s fraud team. This document confirms that they have no objections to unfreezing your account.
5. Follow Up : After receiving the NOC, contact the bank to ensure they process the unfreeze. Also, follow up with the cyber police for any updates from the bank.
Additional Considerations : The cyber police might send the No Objection Certificate (NOC) to an incorrect email address instead of the fraud team’s address. Additionally, the bank may take several days to process the NOC after receiving it.
6. Escalate if Necessary : If the bank doesn't provide the required details or if you still face issues, escalate the matter by asking the bank to raise a complaint. You escalate it within the bank by contacting higher-level officials or customer service departments to ensure your problem is addressed. But after receiving the cyber police details your responsibility to contact the cyber police to resolve the issue.
Note: The bank can not remove the freeze without the NOC from the cyber police. If the cyber police do not issue the NOC, you may need to escalate within the police department as well. The cyber police will not provide the No Objection Certificate (NOC) directly to you. This important document can only be sent to the bank or its officials.
If the bank said your account was frozen by orders from cyber crime department, somehow you got involved in some offense or other. It need not necessarily mean you did some offense, it could mean your account somehow got involved, may be without your knowledge. It could be a genuine mistake on part of the authorities if you are not involved in any cyber (or other) offense.
The best you can do is, get the details from the bank and then approach the proper authorities, don’t wait for some cop come to you. If that happens, they will certainly ask you, why you did not approach them after the bank t

I gamble on platforms like 1Xbet which uses payment aggregators to send or receive money. The bank had initiated a field investigation which was positive, I have also submitted the proof of income and also narration of last 6 months transactions- after all this they are telling me that my account will not be un-frozen.
They are unable to ascertain the different payment aggregators which are used by the gaming platform.
The thing I don't understand is since this is a $ 3 billion industry in India and 1xbet being a prominent platform at that, why the bank has an issue with unblocking. It's probably not the first case they've dealt with. I'm facing alot of hardship as bulk of my funds is stuck in that account and I'm unable to pay EMI’s because of this. The bank officials are not at all supportive, they just keep telling me that the account can not be unfrozen and are not helping me find a way.
I'm dealing with gambling addiction as well the torment from the bank- All of this has taken a toll on my mental well-being.
The sad part is the Govt. allow such platforms to advertise and operate, tax their earnings but punish the people who play on them. The little man always gets screwed.

Here, one needs to understand that powers under the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, were available to the police earlier as well. However, this awareness that they can utilise this power in this manner has come recently across the country - and this is where it gets misused. When transactions and their beneficiaries are tracked, the actual amount does not matter. Even if you are the seventh person from the source account, your account can get frozen.
Apart from operational challenges, only a few police stations that we have seen understand the difference between marking a lien for a particular amount of the transaction and freezing the entire account. So, this awareness is yet to come. For the police stations that are aware of this, they only send a notice to freeze the entire account in cases where it is actually needed.
If an account is frozen, the investigation officer can give the necessary directions to the bank to de-freeze the account. This, mostly, does not work. The person whose account is frozen is in city A and the police is from city B, and A and B are a thousand kilometres apart. The most common grievance is that the police officers do not pick up calls or respond to emails.
An effective way is to get a petition filed for the same at the concerned High Court of the state the police belongs to. We regularly connect our clients with lawyers from across the country so that the petition can be filed and an order for de-freezing the account(s) can be obtained.

Whilst on the whole I do not have a lot of time for the UK Police as far as this sort of crime is concerend at least for insurance purposes you have done so. The Police claim that they no longer deal with fraud (which is odd as it is a crime ! ) ; but pass you on to an operation in the UK called “Action Fraud”, which I discovered when I had my Current Account compromised, actually have no “teeth” and are really just a central recording operation, but actually take no action nor have any legal enforcment power as such. That includes brining cases on behalf of those subject to the Fraud. Frankly a waste of space, the sloping shouldered Police are no better, too busy playing “Z-Cars” -:)
- Open a new account with a completely different, unassociated bank outside you main banking circle. In the UK we have six main banks, who work pretty much as a tight consortium and frankly no safer than the other. However some of the smaller private banks (notably Co-Op, Virgin and Britannia Banks) because they are smaller and lower voloumes tend to be more vigilant.
- Even with this new account, it should be operated manually, that is to say no automated payments such as Direct Debits and Standing Orders. Ideally work in cash through an ATM, or a Debit Card, all of which can be traced more easily and are under you control.
- DO NOT transfer balances or mandates from the account which has been compromised to the new account and bankers, as the fraudsters are likely to find the audit trail and you will be back to the begining.
- If you are employed and receive a payroll, speak to your payroll/staff department and ask them to change the destiantion bank for your payroll to the new account you have opened with the different bank.
- Monitor your new account as much as you did your old account. Report any odd transactions to their fraud department, and share it with your former bankers too.
- Most importantly notify ALL your Creditors what has happened and that you will be paying them manually for the immediate future.
- Take your statements weekly and check them; if you have on line banking, check the account daily at about mid-day (for over-night transactions) and about 15:00 hours for entries just before close of business (both periods a favourite for fraudsters).
In the UK we do have a central reporting operation called Action Fraud, but frankly they are only an event recording operation and have no legal “clout” at all; and don’t expect them to co-operate too much with the Police, despite the fact that both parteies should be talking to eachother, regrettably they do not see banking fraud as important than playing Starsky and Hutch or Police Interceptors charging down the M6 ! -:)
In my case although we never actually got to the bottom who tried to undermine my account, at least my accounts are on a “fraud watch”, even my new bankers.

- Use a minimum number of UPI apps.
