I don’t know about the spirituality part of it. But yes, when I was writing my book “Towards a better understanding of Islam”, I did listen to complete Quran recitation online from some website.

I wanted to use around 100 of the most interesting verses for my audiobook which came subsequently. That was a wonderful experience since the people who recited those verses were steeped in devotion and the Arabic language too has some mesmerizing qualities.

But unfortunately, I could not get permission from the website for using them in my audio book since they never responded to my e-mails. So, finally I published my audiobook without those wonderful recitations which could have added lot of weight to my explanations and also set the right mood.
