Probable causes of aggression in the elderly population of those impacted with Alzheimer’s disease (a specific type of dementia) or other types of dementia include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Unmanaged pain
- Unmanaged anxiety
- Untreated infections
- Being on acetylcholinesterase inhibitors for too long.
