I was working the morning shift in the appliance store. A young couple came in to shop for a microwave oven. I found one that seemed to have all the features that they needed at the price point they claimed they wanted. When I tried to close the sale they refused to buy. When I asked why the young man said, “We planned to take all day to shop for a microwave. If we buy it from you now, what will we do the rest of the day?”

I suggested that going home and having sex would be a lot more fun than walking around appliance stores all day. I guess he disagreed with me because he still refused to buy the oven. In fact, he got quite angry with me. He shouted, “I think we should go outside and settle this man to man.” I suggested that we were one man short.

Sheesh, you offer one little suggestion and they try to take your head off.
