This match is teetering and it will be hard to pick a winner. Khawaja’s dismal efforts, reflected in other members of the team will probably have little impact on the outcome.
In ODI and T20 it is a few balls or a few strikes that makes the difference. The game is like the mood swings of an bad mannered person. The Australian team had seen and observed all 3 series where India thrashed its opponents badly, NZ, England and Bangladesh test.

As of now,in the recent times Australia has been a pretty poor inconsistent side. With the cutting and chopping of the team every series sometimes midseries( against tests in Sa where they changed half the squad) the team looks highly unsetlled and with their pretty awful selection system,things dont seem brighter ahead too.

In my opinion, the main cause of Australian Cricket's problems is the dominance of India and their money in the short forms of the game.
Yes runs will come, but not at the same frequency as in the past. Khawaja’s end is closer than his begining and we need to find the replacement.

The post sandpaper controversy the morale of the Australians is down.They have world class players but SLEDGING played a significant role in their victories.Now sledging also has come down and they are finding it a difficult to be as good a team they were.The absence of Smith and Warner is also a factor of them losing the series (without taking anything from Indian victory).
Guess what? Australia lost the 5th test, which Khawaja and Warner contributed to. If rain hadn’t caused the 4th test to be drawn, Australia would have lost The Ashes. Luck, not good batting, meant Australia didn’t lose.
