Never found out how rich she was, but her father owned several car dealerships thru out the state.

She had the apt near mine. Moved in, I helped her and her friend bring in the heavy stuff. Furniture was nothing special, looked second hand.

She worked in a floral shop, she was one of the designers. We spoke when in the hallway or parking lot. One day after a few months a notice was posted on her door. The landlord was a jerk and always posted late rent on the door instead of a letter. After she came home I knocked on her door and asked if she needed help. She told me everything was fine. A day later she knocked on my door. She asked if my offer was still available. We chatted, seems she had a unexpected bill and only paid part of the rent. She said landlord made her a creepy offer about the rest. I gave her the $55.00 she needed. Told her to pay when she could.

About two months later she asked again for a loan, she had invited me over for supper a few times and took the opportunity to ask for $75.00 as she put it “ I don't want to fuck that old man” I gave her the loan. (Yes I wanted to have sex). The end of the next month she started moving things out. I asked why, she only said things weren't working out and she had to go elsewhere. I told her if rent was a problem she could move in with me, no strings. She thanked me and was gone the next day.

About two weeks later she called and invited me to dinner. We met, she told me about her family, their money. How she wanted to be her own person, to make it on her own. After trying for a year she went back to her dad for a job, with the understanding she had to earn it not be given it. She thanked me for my help. She did ask why I never asked for sex like the landlord. I told her I just wanted to help as there were times I needed help. Besides sex was supposed to be because one wanted to have it, not because they had to. So back to my apartment where she spent the night, and a few other nights.
