Of course it can! It can be hard to differentiate between, bad directing, a bad script and plain old bad acting vs “a bad pick”. but it can certainly happen. How much it makes the movie “bad” can be abit subjective, but again, this sincerely CAN HAPPEN. You might not agree with how bad the impact of the casting is, but i think you’ll see my point on these movies.

Kevin Costner “Robin Hood Prince of Thieves”

This casting is so… SO absolutely STUPID. Kevin Costner is an upper class American (Mr Brooks). NOT A LOWER CLASS ENGLISHMAN. Any english actor would have done a better job.

Denise Richards “The world is not enough”

It is easy to criticise this movie for ANY ONE OF A HUNDRED DIFFERENT MISTAKES but i sincerely believe, Denise Richards as a NUCLEAR FUCKING SCIENTIST is an absolute joke. Watching Bond means not exactly agreeing to ‘reality’ but this just took it too far…

Elligah Wood "Ash Wednesday"

Again, the whole movie was pretty much fucked before they even started, however, how on earth this actor with NO IRISH ACCENT was allowed into this film that target IRISH AUDIENCES WHO WOULD EASILY TELL THE DIFFERENCE is beyond me.

Sophia Coppella in Godfather 3

There are quite a few problems here. Firstly, she was put in a film with GENIUS ACTORS. Thus her lack of skill therefore sticks out like a sore thumb. Secondly, while her look is Italianish, she really doesn’t show much more in her actions OR ATTITUDE to the role. Finally, isn’t it obvious she’s the directors daughter??? WHAT A FUCKUP!

Nicholas Cage Ghostrider

It’s an ACTION SUPERHERO FILM. Seriously. LESS IS MORE WITH EVERY EMOTION. Can Nicholas cage do this??? ERRR NO!!

Orlando Bloom Kingdom of Heaven,

The whole story is about old christian values. Does Orlando DO ANYTHING TO MAKE YOU BELIEVE THAT? He’s too fake when he’s angry and brings no good masculinity to the role. The whole movie is a mess, Orlando, just makes it more vivid.
