Yes! And it was kind of a “fall in my lap” situation.

One weekend a few years ago I picked up my friend in NYC who was coming upstate to visit for the weekend. He was visiting from California.

On the drive up my mother calls me and asks “"Hey, can you come to Paul's house tomorrow to see if you can fix his home theater?” In my head: “Paul who? I have my friend visiting why does she want me OOOOOOHHHH! Paaauuulll!!”

Me: Yea sure thing! Can my friend Dan come to help? He’s actually an AV guy too and would be a big help!

Mom: (turns to Paul) Can he bring his friend Dan to help? (Sure!)

I turn to Dan: “"Umm so do you want to go to Paul Rudd’s house tomorrow morning with me to fix his home theater?”

He’s literally dumbfounded: “"Umm are you for real and is that a serious fucking question?!?!” So we went to his house and got to meet him. He was home from filming Ant-Man that weekend. He actually spent a bunch of time with us and we had a great time! He was cracking jokes the whole time and was interested in what we were doing. He is an amazing, genuine, down to earth guy. He’s a good dad too. Best part about it, I’ve now become his go-to AV guy and we’re on a first name basis. I've even got to spend more time with him and met David Wayne once at his house while I was working. I actually have to go back up to his house again soon!

The irony is I don't really work in the AV industry anymore and I have one “client” and they are a celebrity lol. And even though he’s insanely down to earth and cool, I still get nervous going there.

Oh and pics or it didn't happen!

Edit:

Holy crap I didn't think anyone cared enough, but somehow I have 550 upvotes! I'm glad people thought it was a cool story! Thanks everyone!
