Amit Goyal is probably the best teacher for preparation of DSE and ISI entrance exams in the whole country. He has over the years, developed a well-structured program which can help you to crack the exams in the first attempt.

He focusses immensely upon Microeconomics, Mathematics, and Statistics. And they cover almost 60 to 80% of the questions in the exam. He encourages students to actively participate in the classes and to solve past year papers. He weekly assigned us two past year papers (one DSE, another ISI) and they were discussed in the next class. There is at least one class on Macro, if not two, but if students insist, he will surely agree for two classes.

He also encourages students to solve as many problems as they can and to discuss them among themselves, as well as with him. This approach not only helps you in clearing your concepts, also immensely helps you in your interviews for ISI and IGIDR.

But it is not enough to join Amit Sir’s classes, you need to put an honest effort and work harder. Make sure you clear your doubts, first discuss them with your friends, use discussion platforms as much as you can (Amit Sir also create a platform for discussion) and ask Sir if you still are little skeptical.

Also, personally Amit Sir is quite approachable, you can give him a call anytime, ask him any personal advice or just talk to him about life. He is a humble human being and an awesome teacher.
