I am not a man, but I am an Aquarius, and I can confidently tell you that it’s not just the Aquarius men that stare at someone when they like them, other Aquarius people do that as well.

But, to be honest, we do not stare at people only because we like them. I, for instance, stare at a lot of people for a lot of reasons. Maybe I am admiring something about them; maybe I am thinking about talking to them, but can’t really bring myself to do it; maybe I am just daydreaming and not really paying attention to who I am looking at (which may cause me some troubles, depending on the situation). The thing is: it’s really hard to know when an Aquarius has feelings for you, because we will deny it to death, even to ourselves.

I remeber my past crushes very clearly, and I can say that I did stare at them a lot. I don’t really know why; I really liked to watch the unconscious things they did when they thought nobody was looking (which sounds a bit creepy, now that I put it like that) because I just think people are more like themselves when they feel they are safe from society’s stares and judgement. People can be cute, and gross and dorky when they are lost in their thoughts, and I think that is really interesting.

All of the Aquarius people I met are really interested about people (my best friend, for example, another aquarius, really stares at people, sometimes with a blank face that leaves you wondering what the hell is going on in her head) so it could just be part of their personality; they like people watching, and it doesn’t necessarily mean they like you.

There are better ways of knowing if an Aquarius likes (or cares) about you:

1. They share their private life with you, and are not afraid to tell you the deep shit. Aquarius, in my opinion, may seem to show a lot to people, but in my experience, we seem like an open book, but people are seeing just the cover of us. I know that a lot of people think they know me, and sometimes I say stuff and they are like “wait, I didn’t know that about you”. The truth is that we share what we think is necessary, funny, interesting and shallow. I only share deep parts of me (fears, insecurities, beliefs, past experiences) with people I care about and know that will stand by me no matter what. Opening up is a hell of a huge step for an Aquarius, more than to other people.
2. They let you take charge, and trust you. Everybody that knows about the zodiac knows that Aquarius people have a thing for independence. We don’t really like relying on other people, because honestly, trusting others is just a way of getting brutally hurt and emotionally scarred for life. If they let you make decisions that affect them as well, and in a great way, know for sure that they trust you a lot, and would probably die for you.
3. If they try spending as much time with you, or at least, around you. Something that I can say for sure that I did a lot. Even if it was just standing near the person I liked made me a little satisfied (senpai was noticing me! Yes, I know it sounds ridiculous, it is, and we know). If they spend a lot of time around you, and show genuine interest in what you have to say, they care about you.

Personally, Aquarius people stare at you when they are in love because you are probably in their thoughts, or they are simply admiring you. Pay attention if they smile while staring at you ;)
