I was probably 10 or 11 and my best friend and i were playing in the woods near our house. It started to rain so she decided to head home but I stuck around longer. I liked being outside and the woods made me think of adventure.

Anyway started to get cold, so I decided to head home. about half way out along the path was what most likely an old homeless man. he pointed at me and shouted “hey you! get on home, these woods aren't safe. Monsters and madmen live here!” then he started laughing.i don't think I've ever run so fast in my life! and I never went back in that part of the woods again.
