I am a practitioner and a trainer of heartfulness meditation. One lady who just started practice of Heartfulness meditation once asked me if I believe in GOD. I asked her do you believe in GOD? She said “Yes”, I said “Yes”. Then I said we both asked the same question and we both gave the same answer; Yet deep inside our answers do not match, as we perceive this idea of believing differently. I told her why there is a necessity to believe, I rather experience it. The question is what to experience and how?

Then I asked her Do you believe in this existence, that you exist. If the answer is yes, then this whole existence must have a beginning, a SEED. Like if there is a tree there must be a seed. Now where is the essence of the seed, its all pervading in the tree! You see, if there is a seed for this existence where did that seed go, it is all pervading, agree? In scientific terms there is a big bang, the amount of time for the Bing bang to occur is so short, that its not possible to measure with all the scientific advancements today. What was there before big bang? There must have been something, which caused this big bang. The general misconception is that there is some explosion. But really speaking there was no explosion. It’s an expansion from singularity to something vast and this expansion happened in no time. After that everything is a manifestation from one thing to another.

But this seed if call it GOD then there is no problem to think of evolution. As mentioned earlier the essence of this seed (GOD) is all pervading. Now it does not exist as a separate entity, but part and parcel of this existence in present past and future. It does not interfere with anything, the laws of evolution or the laws of science, which are discovered so far.

I was listening to a talk titled Technology of Spirituality by Kurshed Batliwala, he was mentioning the astronomical distances and some of the celestial objects were discovered by ancient seers without any instruments. How did these seers get such information?

Human existence is fortunate enough to tap in to this essence and connect with its awareness (consciousness) is able to comprehend the laws even beyond science. Which is known as Spiritual science. Truly speaking there was never a conflict between religions and science. Religions tapped in to this awareness, science tapped in to the physical & biological laws, evolution. Both are at a different plane, helping humans evolve intellectually backed by wisdom. Intellect, which is not backed by wisdom either looks the other way and says there is no GOD or turns the religion dogmatic. Which is predominant in today’s world. Science definitely plays a major role in our lives otherwise we would not be able communicate our ideas over the Internet. Manifestation and evolution continues as long as there is this existence.

It’s time to tap into this higher consciousness and understand the secrets which it has to reveal and develop the wisdom to accept the things the way they are.
