The presumption that young transgender females would WANT to strip naked and display their genitalia to young natal females is a strawman argument. It’s utterly false. NO young transgender female would do that. It is already hideously difficult for them to be in a body that does not match their internal sense of self, so why would they want to flaunt that? The implication is nasty in the extreme: that young transgender females are perverts and sexual predators. They are nothing of the sort. They are so self-conscious of the differences between their own bodies and those of natal children that they would no more strip naked in front of a bunch of their peers than they would set fire to their hair and throw themselves off a building. In fact, the latter is more likely.

The underlying assumption here is sexual, of course. Adults tend to project their own fantasies and perversions onto others and, horrifyingly, there are a lot of people who do that to children, including teachers. The presumption is that trans children are perverts because that’s how adults see the question of gender and sexuality: they are one and the same and cisgender adults cannot imagine anyone wanting to do that unless it’s for sexual purposes.

Those young natal females need not fear that a young transgender female wants to shower with them. They would much rather shower in private so that they are not further embarrassed by their differences. Stop projecting adult fantasies onto children. It’s sick.
