The Manitoba PNP Express Entry pathway is one of the several immigration streams managed under MPNP’s Skilled Workers Overseas Category. The Skills Workers Overseas Category was designed to target foreign nationals with an active Express Entry profile – that have the skills and experience to contribute to the province’s labor force.
In order to be eligible to apply under the Manitoba PNP Express Entry pathway, you need to first have an active profile in one of Canada’s Express Entry immigration programs. This includes:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
You will be asked to submit a copy of your IRCC profile details to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
Furthermore, you will be required to meet the following eligibility:
- Connection to Manitoba: Demonstrate the ability and intention to become economically established and reside in Manitoba.
- Language proficiency: For NOC Skill Level 0 and A – CLB 7 or higher. For NOC Skill Level B – CLB 6 or higher.
- Level of education: A minimum of a one-year post-secondary program.
- Work experience: A minimum of 6 months of full-time work experience in one of the in-demand occupations in Manitoba.
- Point assessment grid: At least 60 points out of 100 in the Manitoba PNP points calculator.
- Settlement plan: Submit a settlement plan for integrating into life in Manitoba.
- Settlement funds: Demonstrate liquid funds equivalent to Low Income Cut-Off (LICO) requirements as outlined by Canada’s federal immigration authorities.
Hope this helps.
