It's passable and his tap dancing is largely faked, but his acting ability overcomes his lack of musical talent. Even so, I feel he is overshadowed by the two women. Renee Zellwegger does extremely well. But, the one I was most impressed with was Cathrine Zeta Jones. John C Reilly does a great interpretation of Mr Cellophane as well.
