I am a fan of toilet lid covers. When you close the lid and disguise the toilet as a stool, it is a comfy place to sit while drying your hair or having a heart -to-heart conversation while applying your makeup with a friend. I like to add a color splash to an otherwise "cold" shiny room. These ideas certainly don't match with a minimalistic decor but for me.....a plush lid cover is a more inviting place to place towels while bathing and showering.

The whole idea is defeated if you only own one lid cover. Keeping the lid cover fresh and clean with a clean spare always at the ready ~ is essential.
