Years ago when I was a little girl my family and I moved into a new neighborhood. My father put a fence up around our backyard (which was a rather big yard!) We also had an above ground pool. There was a group of guys in the neighborhood who liked to ride there motor cycles through the back of our yard. The fence my dad put up blocked “their path” even though it was on our property. They proceeded to put a huge snapping turtle in our pool to get back at us. They did other things as well but that stands out the most in my memory. It was BIG!
