The original series of books by Rick Riordan was amazing, and I was excited when I found out they were making a movie. It’s a pretty action-packed book, so it should’ve easily leant itself to being a good movie. Instead, they utterly destroyed the story by miscasting the actors and altering the plot. After totally butchering the first book with the train wreck first movie, I don’t understand how they managed to get the sequel movie made from the second book. I’m just grateful they didn’t do the whole series!
