Tights are considered the underwear. So if dancers are wearing tights there is no need for underwear. Dancers are taught from an early age (six or seven, sometimes earlier it was the tiny tot classes for my daughter) to not wear underwear with their tights and leos for ballet class. Now when a dancer isn’t wearing tights a pair of seamless underwear is often worn but not always. Most leos have liners.
