It's fairly effective at giving view counts since that information is easily accessible and updatable. However, I definitely don't recommend using SocialBlade to calculate revenue. The way it calculates revenue is pretty straightforward but creates a huge range. It takes a lowest possible dollar-per-thousand-view rate, and a highest possible rate and uses that along with view counts to calculate how much money a YouTuber makes. The reason why this is so inaccurate is because rates vary so much. Per thousand views, one might make 1 dollar or maybe 3 dollars. For 1mil views that can be anywhere from 1000-3000 dollars and the more views, the wider the gap becomes. There's no way to get an accurate number with a tool like this.
