Manhattan is 60km-sq with 1.6 million people. Gaza is 250sq-km with 2 million people. The Hudson river is polluted. The Mediterranean is clean. NY is cold. Gaza is warm and sunny. Manhattan is occupied by the United States. There are police, Riker's Island Prison, FBI, CIA, DHS, and more. Most Manhattanites don't own a car, they walk, or take taxis and subways. It’s just too expensive to own a car, and there’s no place to park. Manhattan is expensive. If you don't have a job, and are not wealthy, you can't stay. You are oppressed. Bye bye. No one cries for you. Gaza has not been occupied since 2005, when PM Ariel Sharon forcibly pulled the settlers out. They left behind homes, greenhouses, farms, all of which were wealth producing. Hamas did not sell the valuable resources, or even give them away. Hamas destroyed everything. Why do people blame Hamas instead of trying to understand them? 20% of Israel's population are Arab. There is no oppression. They vote, attend school, get free medical care, just like every Israeli. They may travel without restriction, just like every Israeli. These are the ONLY Arabs in the Arab world living in a liberal democracy. And Israel doesn't fear them. They don't attack Israel. Many, especially the Christian Arabs and the Druze, LOVE being Israeli. But many Muslims love being Israeli too, especially the wealthy ones. Right now Israeli Druze cousins who live on the Golan in Syria are begging Israel to annex them. Many Gazans used to come into Israel (Israel is a very small place) everyday to work. That’s over. There are no jobs in Gaza. Why not try to understand them? They destroyed their economy, and all Israeli goodwill with murder, slaughter, terror, mutilation, rape and worse. They took 200 hostages. Most are dead now. Then they blame their victims, and demand money from the world. Try to understand them. They say, in Arabic of course, that all they want out of life is to kill Jews. And they mean it. Try to understand them. But keep them away from me.
