When I signed up for the UX design course I had high hopes of learning all the tools necessary for a job in UX. The course is around 3600 which is much less than other top-rated boot camps in NYC. I decided from the reviews to dive in and give them a chance. During the course, the instruction was great detailed information provided. The only very negative aspect of the course is you are required to design and plan out a final project, but they do not provide you any training in the necessary software to get the project completed. Figma and sketch the most used apps in UX were never even taught to any students in my class. we had to learn these things on our own. Paying 3,600 for continued education and having to youtube everything because the school did not provide any direction makes me wonder why I even to the course in the first place. We were introduced to sketch 2 weeks before our final project was set to be due. If you are looking for a generative overview of UX then this school is for you. If you desire hands-on and through challenges that will set you up for potential UX job placement I would invest elsewhere.
