My mother-in-law was in the hospital and my husband was visiting her. She had the curtain pulled such that she couldn’t see people coming into her room but my husband could. When I got off of work, I came to visit her too and when I got to her to give her a hug, she said “I could tell it was you coming into the room by Don’s (her son) smile on his face”. I still think of this with tears in my eyes often even though she has been gone for several years. She was such sweet person.
