People come and go.
They’re just like seasons.
Nothing is ever permanent in this fleeting lifetime.
So let bygones be bygones.
People are either a lesson or an experience we ought to encounter. They teach us emotions we never thought we are capable of feeling. They give us memories we will look back on as time passes by. They impart unique knowledge that we couldn’t even find in studies.
I understand that parting from people is difficult to grasp and that we sometimes end up wondering about whys and what ifs. However, maturity comes from accepting that certain things just aren’t meant to be. So instead of looking at it through a negative angle, we can make use of the useful experiences and lessons they brought to our lives. We can just let things be.
I also believe that doubting why we meet people radiates melancholy and pain rather than gratefulness and acceptance for their temporary, yet valuable, presence.
