Well, it would seem that substituting the word “IT” in your question would get more answers, but I will answer you from a philosophical perspective.
NOTHING is permanent if you are speaking of this world we live on, and what it contains.
It causes a great deal of anxiety and sadness by convincing ourselves that people, feelings, places will even last the rest of our lives. Though it IS possible for a relationship to last “until death do us part”, but look around you and it is so very rare.
When a person tells themselves that a relationship ( for example) will last forever it becomes too easy to let today just go by. After all, there always is tomorrow. But to truly LIVE a person must live in TODAY. Yesterday is just a memory, and tomorrow is just a fantasy. To be in Love is the most beautiful feeling a human can experience. Only a fool would waste a single day they can be fully experiencing the joy it can bring, or taking the time to work together to “fix” whatever may be wrong which makes Love stronger.
Even Love is not permanent. Nothing earthly or connected to humans is.

Furthermore, life on earth is a struggle where pain and suffering are a big part of the struggle. We die ugly, due to old age, wars, accidents, violence or diseases is by itself gross. If we in our current state do not end, then this struggle continues to eternity which do not make any sense. In my opinion only that which has an ending can be aware of the new. Leaves shed in the fall and new leaves arrive in spring. These new leaves are not part of the old that died, it has its own life.

I'm glad someone asked this.
Nearly all emotions are temporary, because they are mere responses to the external or internal stimulus we encounter through the course of life. If we take into consideration the external atmosphere, it's all about actions. Internally, everything starts with a thought.
Suppose someone criticizes you, a thought emerges in your mind - does it matter? Your answer determines whether you're peaceful, or hurt, or agressive. These all come under temporary emotions. They take over our responses for merely a moment, minute, even days at end.

Suppose someone criticizes you, a thought emerges in your mind - does it matter? Your answer determines whether you're peaceful, or hurt, or agressive. These all come under temporary emotions. They take over our responses for merely a moment, minute, even days at end.
Asian cultures, specially the Vedic way of life advocates a negative response to the question of does it matter. This teaches the Yogis and sages not to respond with aggression, hatred, despise, etc. They talk about a permanent emotion, which is compassion.
Now if you look at it, compassion springs from Love. And this, you'd agree, is a permanent emotion. When a child is born out of mother's womb, it unconsciously demands care. The presence of care results in love, the absence results in fear and apprehension, and an infant begins to cry. From the very start of our human journey we love people, and then, till the very end. On the deathbed, it is the loved ones that remain in the mind of the person breathing his last.
So, there's this permanent emotion, which is why this is so powerful. So much so one can change people entirely with a loving response to something meant to disturb our peace of mind.
Hope I addressed your question well. :)
Peace!

Situations can effect us in a permanent manner or merely temporarily.
One who knows death is imminent in sickness or facing a firing squad there abides a state of suffering which is temporary in light of acknowledging one’s demise will be permanent.
An inconvenience, causes frustration for a rather short period of time at airports until the temporariness ends it’s lasting time period. Then the temporariness of life continues in forms of enjoyment through conversations, with eating, or even sightseeing and the like.
However long life endures we can think of life’s temporary nature in light of this human experience knowing of our own rendezvous with death as permanence represents.
The temporary: “Don’t worry, I’ll be back in the Spring.”
The permanent: “I’m sorry you are leaving knowing we shall never meet again.”
The patience or tolerance considering people’s behaviors run differently. One is short tempered concerning actions considered as inappropriate behaviors. Others are patient and long suffering toward the behaviors people keep.
Frustration is usually considered to be a temporary inconvenience and short lived. When frustration builds into anger the frustration becomes rather more permanently enduring.
An attitude is temporarily relied upon as one is wiling to change in making permanent corrections.

To me the only thing constant in this world is change. Nothing lasts forever. Everybody has their own time of retirement. I am sure most of you would have heard the quote “the life of the world is nothing but a game”. And of course each game has an ending. So to simplify things- life is basically like a flowing river in which nothing stays.

I did scuba diving. I dove off the boat and slowly sank into the sea. There is nothing like breathing underwater. The sound of my own breath underwater – it was hypnotising. Moving around plants and rocks under water, isn’t it amazing. It’s like a dream you do not want to wake up from; swimming with a shoal of bream, plants tickling your body with the smallest touch and the limitless vision of water all around you.
This was definitely temporary yet so permanent, I would never forget it.
Everything will be fine at the end, if it is not fine then it is not the end, the temporary is measured by that. Anything you face in your life, any hardships, bitter experience or any unfortunate happenings its all relative and its all how you perceive them. If your mind is stronger enough to resist or overcome it then you will not define it by the state as temporary or permanent.
Remember, when you were in crisis you are not the same person as you were into it, every thing is an experience
The only thing permanent in this world is ourselves.
We all have the experience of permanence. In Bhagavad Gita Krishna explains how the self, contrary to the body and mind, is permanent.
A person's body goes through different stages - infancy, childhood, youth, old age and finally death. But during all these changes of the body and the mind, the self (the inner sense of I-feeling), or the inner observer remains constant. I am the same ‘me’ when I’m young as when I’m old. The human life-form is unique in the sense that it allows the self to understand its own eternity. So the purpose of human life is to connect with the eternal self. If one is simply absorbed in the body and its demands, one is wasting this valuable opportunity - an opportunity that is only available in the human life-form. Eating, sleeping, mating and defending, the soul can do in any life-form, only in the human form can the self connect with eternity.
Krishna says:
As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change. (Bg 2.13)
I am never manifest to the foolish and unintelligent. For them I am covered by My internal potency, and therefore they do not know that I am unborn and infallible. (Bg. 7.25)

A “temporary” change means that a situation, issue, place, etc. is only going to last for a certain time period. As in: “He has a temporary position in the firm.”
“Permanent” means everlasting, never changing. So if the same person has a permanent position in the firm, he is there to stay.

It is the biggest villain when it is dominated by ego, vengeance and anger. It is our closest and dearest friend when it is filled with positivity, love and selflessness.

No RAM is “permanent” in the sense that it is write once only. That is covered by Read Only Memory ROM. This early form of ROM was superseded by erasable, programmable ROM (EPROM) that added the ability to erase the stored data when exposed to UV light.
You dont hear much about ROM these days because of the advent of Static RAM (SRAM) that retained data even when powered down. Initially SRAM was slower to access than Dynamic RAM (DRAM) and limited in its read-write cycles.
This limitation was overcome by the development of SDRAM, now known as Flash Memory. and this is the technology used in USB pen drives and PC’s to store cache data and latterly as a replacement for Ferromagnetic Hard Drives (SSD)
All of these SDRAM variations comprise a family of memory types known as Non-Volatile RAM. (NVRAM). There are a number of different techniques used in NVRAM that are beyond the scope of this answer.
During all of this NVRAM development the basic Dynamic RAM (DRAM) development continued. Because Flash offered a cheap and functional NVRAM option, DRAM development concentrated on increasing memory capacity and access speed. DRAM is volatile and loses its data when power is removed.

Gone.
We live in time, whatever we perceive—any object, event, or any relationship, the whole universe, whatever we perceive, we perceive it in time. And time means change. The moment you go from the zeroth second to the first second, something has changed. Had it not changed, you would not have been able to detect time or conceptualize time or give a meaning to time.
Time is just another name for change. So, whatever is in time, which means whatever is perceptible through the senses, whatever is worldly, whatever exists in the universe is in time. And time means change and change means disappearance.
So, whatever is, will not go away; it has already gone away.
“In the moment of its appearance it simultaneously disappear.”

I cannot believe that anyone could ask a question like this when the answer is within the question. Look in any dictionary and you will find the words Permanent and Temporary have meanings that are essentially opposite.
I should get paid for giving lessons in basic English meanings.

What do you mean by permanent people? Do you know any? :) We are as temporary as our temporary emotions and every phenomena in this world. It takes a little longer for us to dissolve, than it takes for feelings and thoughts. But we naturally cease to exist, after about 80 years if we're lucky. And that is after spending a life of non stop change within us. Our bodies, thoughts, beliefs and feelings change non stop too. So nothing is permanent about people.
The only eternal, permanent, non changing “thing” is consciousness / awareness.

Good morning Shaheer,
The difference is that “temporary” is an adjective. For example, “He is a temporary employee.” Or, “Those birds are migrating and are temporary visitors and will be gone in a day or two.” Or, “This is only a temporary fix on your car; you will need to get a permanent replacement soon.”
“Temporarily” is an adverb. “I only worked temporarily and left after a month.” Or, “Your symptoms may disappear temporarily, and then return.” Or, “We temporarily listed the job offer and lifted it after a week.”
I hope this helps.

As many times as I have tried to correlate the effects of one emotion with another, I have only ever arrived at the conclusion that no two emotions are analogous. I wouldn't say that pain is a much stronger emotion than happiness. But pain is a teacher. It opens the eyes of the naive/ignorant, makes you stronger, adds substance to your character and most importantly teaches you to empathize. Pain has lasting effects. Happiness, on the other hand, is quite(obviously) the opposite of sadness. These are fleeting moments of joy that you unconsciously, unapologetic-ally and quite rightly parade. The key is to evaluate the reason behind these emotions, why they are expressed so differently and the impact on you as a person.
Fear.. the alien us, the enemy within. The Grandmaster Meme. what is the opposite of Fear?
Craving. Philia
Fear is an imitation of the sense of ‘Danger’. We can know this because ‘Danger’ is Absolute - it has no opposite. Creatures use this sense to trigger the brakes, so to speak. Do they actually experience ‘Fear’? Other than us ‘humanising’ their behaviour, it seems doubtful that they do. It is more fitting that Fear is defined as a human ‘emotion’.
It exists on a subjective scale, similar to happiness/sadness .. pain/pleasure.
For this spectrum, ‘Fear’ is at one end and at the other is ‘Crav

Fear and Craving. We can know this more easily as Philia (an invisible attraction/compulsion) and Phobia (an invisible repulsion). Like two ends of a magnet.
As we move closer to each end the ability to logic our response
So, as to answer your question, the human ‘emotion’ Fear exists on a personal
Let's have a look what do we have in our “lives”.
- Living
- Parents
- Friends
- Partner
- Children
- Pet
- Non-living
- Books
- Mobile phones
- House
- Car
- Clothes.
This list made a point. NO TANGIBLE THING IS PERMANENT BE IT LIVING OR NON-LIVING.
SO, what is permanent then?
- The manners and etiquettes your parents teach you.
- All the wonderful memories you share with you friends
- Love from your partner.
- The respect with which your children will look at you.
- Faithfulness from your pets
- In all those non living things nothing much is permanent. But special mention to books. All the knowledge you gain from them, that is permanent for sure.

So I think I have made my point.
Thankyou. :)
If existence is temporary, what happens when it disappears? If the answer is ‘nothing’, then nothing has to ‘exist’ isn’t it? There is no way therefore, existence is temporary.
There is no permanently, and especially no permanent you. You yourself come and go! Happy you in one moment, sad you in another. The more of one circumstance we have in our life, the more it shapes the others. A person who is depressed most of their life, but then gets over it in their later years, will not have the same situation as someone who learns to be happy most all the time in their late teens. So should we give up on trying to overcome depression!? I don’t think so!
Everything from the past influences the present. I think that’s just how it works.
May your life be peaceful, and full of

Tolls on the Florida Turnpike. The tolls collected were originally only ment to pay for its construction (officially anyway, or that's the B'S they told everone). Of course their time changed once construction was complete. Now they're charging for certain lanes on I-95 too.
A second item is the Birth control pill, in a way. It was created to regulate a woman's period. It was used for women with painfull, heavy and/or irregular cycles. Once they got straight, treatment stopped. It was a fluke they discovered that it also served to stop conception.
The meaning of permanent means that whatever is being talked about is for as long as the two are alive,if it's a human bond. When you are talking about a law or a memorial, the saying that it will be permanent is saing it is meant to carry on and on.There is no real guarantee, for permanence .People use this word to mean forever.Nobody can ensure this.Yet,to use the word permanent would mean this thing should really go the distance. 👩🌀🎇💜🌞
Your Parents.
You cant change them.
(This is an answer in itself but the effect they have on you is also very permanent.)
You cant change what they have taught you. You cant change the qualities they have ingrained in you from birth. They are instrumental in the person you become. CAN become. Whether you hate them or love them, you cant escape the effect they have had on you.
Even if you've not had Parents, their absence still has an effect on you. Often Permanent.
