I'm a foundation student at CD. I was in contact with Prayas Sir for about 3 months and it was only helpful. Infact that little fear of his call.. helped me study better as i knew I'm accountable to someone for progress. He spent hours explaining things.. Even analyzed the whole test paper. Even called specifically to explain how to read lakshmikant. I specifically remember he did so many sessions even when he was travelling, also when he was in train. He's one committed fellow with much needed attitude. Sugarcoating things will not get anyone any close to upsc. In a very difficult phase of preparation he motivated me very gently too... Much needed pep talk. From telling how to write the test in three rounds to how to finish it in 1 hour instead of two... I think i learned the most from him.

It's sad to see people pointing him out like this. Tough love is good if it keeps you on your toes.

I also talked to shweta ma'am once and then was assigned pallavi ma'am as a mentor. They've all gone out of their ways to help me. Pallavi ma'am took the trouble of going to the market and choosing optional notes and sending them by courier. There was absolutely no need to do so for her role as a mentor.

It's not possible to mention everything as it has all been great. I can say that every single call has pushed me ahead in my journey. And a gentle and sometimes stern push is needed in an exam as demanding as UPSC.

Whatever be my stage of preparation, CD did much more than was possible for an online platform. It played every possible role. It's an exam of endurance much more than of knowledge. And for someone like me who struggles to keep the same level of motivation for such long duration… CD did it all. From Rakesh Sir's “Hello Tiger” to Sajal Sir's guidance… every bit has helped.

Someone specifically mentioned samachar manthan and answer analysis. I think it's best in class. They take the time to mark every little thing and that's what improves marks. You can either take it as a setback or as an opportunity to improve.

I can guarantee I'd have completely been lost without CD.
