After clearing 2018 exam, I was appearing for 2019 mains last September. Now, it was really tough to put in again the same level of effort as last few years. I attempted my first test for mains at Civilsdaily. I scored a low 93 (if I remember correctly). Then, in second test again 75. Believe me, In this second test, I had tried better than first to score good. Then, I talked to Sajal sir (mentor and teacher at CD). He boosted my confidence and explained to me in ways I should improve my answers. He went through my answers and then explained few examples from my answer sheet. I appeared for next test and it was better (101). This year, he also persuaded me to write a GS 1 paper as well. I had not written a GS 1 full length test in my whole 3 years of prep. Always avoided it because of history. :D

This is how he has helped. This is story from just 2019. Every year since 2016 October, I have practiced answers through CD. I liked the quality of questions they gave. It was always very comprehensive questions, broad view, great topics being covered. Evaluation, I have always, told them is their strong point compared to anyone in the market. Their evaluation style is nice. They would give detailed feedback on answers. Things like putting proper headings, how to frame dimensions, introductions, conclusions were also commented upon. Value addition like data, reports names was highlighted in the feedback. So, this always helped.
